LINKIN PARK Singer Plans To Resume Work On Solo Project
November 12, 2007The Pulse of Radio reports: LINKIN PARK singer Chester Bennington plans to resume work on the debut album from his side project, DEAD BY SUNRISE, which he put on hold while making and promoting the latest LINKIN PARK CD, "Minutes to Midnight". While Bennington intends to do some work on DEAD BY SUNRISE next month during the holiday break, he told The Pulse of Radio that the record will likely be completed next year. "I think I'm gonna attempt to really get the bulk of any recording or any re-arranging from March to May," he said. "We have like a couple of months off there. That way when we finish touring with LINKIN PARK, then I can go in and just finish the record and get it out."
Bennington's other ventures outside of LINKIN PARK include a chain of tattoo shops and a clothing line.
LINKIN PARK's Music For Relief organization joined with Unite the United to kick off an eBay auction last week, with proceeds going to recovery and reforesting efforts in the Southern California areas devastated by last month's wildfires. Go to ebay.com/CAwildfires to view and bid on the auction items.
LINKIN PARK left for an Asian tour last week and is expected to return for another U.S. trek in February of 2008. Another edition of the band's Projekt Revolution festival tour is also in the works.
